Family-owned care provider CHD Living has unveiled plans for a pioneering care village in Surrey.
Mindenhurst Care Village will be built on the site of the former Ministry of Defence Princess Royal Barracks. It will form part of the wider Mindenhurst Development, with includes plans for 1,200 new homes, a new primary school, nursery, church, and a village pub. The care village will provide 70 care bedrooms and 20 post-operative care suites.
Funded by Barclays Corporate Banking and advised by Bevan Brittan LLP, the announcement of Mindenhurst Care Village follows extensive consultations with local residents and Surrey Heath Borough Council.
