The newly formed Aria Care Group has celebrated its official launch with a series of Alice in Wonderland tea parties.
Aria Care was formed following the acquisition of part of an operating business owned by Caring Homes, which included a portfolio of 50 care homes. The group promises a ‘substantive’ investment programme that will see many of its services refreshed and refurbished.
The official launch took place at Aria’s support office in Colchester and featured an Alice in Wonderland-themed afternoon tea attended by the Mayor and Mayoress of Colchester and staff from Bradbury House care home in Braintree. Tea parties also took place in each of Aria’s care homes.
Aria Care CEO Caroline Roberts said: “The whole team embraced the Alice in Wonderland theme which added to the success of the event. It was a great opportunity to bring everyone together as one team and thank them for the hard work during the transition to Aria Care.
“Aria Care reflects our commitment to providing excellent care and delivering a quality lifestyle to the elderly people in our communities. We are delivering a service which our residents and families can trust. We feel our new motto 'Care from the heart' reflects this dedication.”
Kirsty Allen, home manager at Bradbury House, added: “Thank you to all of the team that were involved in bringing the party together and for making it such a fun day for our residents.
“It was a brilliant way to mark the launch and toast to new beginnings and an exciting future.”
