Hartford Care adds two new luxury care homes to portfolio

Hartford Care has added two newly built state-of-the-art residential care homes to its growing portfolio of homes across England.

The two new homes, located in Aldershot, Hampshire and Swindon, Wiltshire, will each offer 66 bedrooms and have been designed with sustainability in mind, incorporating significant renewable energy elements including solar panels, heat pumps, and battery storage systems. Residential, dementia, and respite care will be offered.

Both homes have been developed by LNT Care Developments, a specialist in delivering future-proofed, operationally carbon-zero care homes designed around residents and operators alike. The Aldershot home will open its doors to residents in March next year, with Swindon to follow in August.

Established in 1908, Hartford Care is based in Basingstoke, Hampshire. It currently operates sixteen care homes across Bristol, Berkshire, Devon, Dorset, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Oxfordshire, and Wiltshire.

Hartford Care chief executive Kevin Shaw said: “We’re extremely pleased to acquire these two care homes and it now brings us to 18 homes with over 850 bedrooms. We are well on our way to achieving our goal to double in size within three years. Aldershot will be our sixth care home in Hampshire and Swindon our second in Wiltshire.”
