Beechwood House care home in Yeovil, South Somerset, has been sold to Rose Care Group in a sale handled by Christie & Co.
Beechwood House comprises 27 en suite bedrooms, as well as day rooms and an enclosed courtyard-style garden with a sun terrace. The home is located to the south of Yeovil town centre in a residential area.
Owned by Rita Gibb since 1998, Beechwood House had been run by her son-in-law, Adrian Rogers. With Rita’s retirement, Adrian decided to move away from the care sector. Beechwood House will be Rose Care Group’s eighth home.
Adrian Rogers said: “As a family, we are proud of Beechwood House and the home we created for our residents. It is important to us that the new owner will build on the values and care Beechwood House stands for and, with Paul Nery and the Rose Care Group, we are reassured this will continue. We wish Paul and all of the staff the very best wishes for the future.”
