Morrison Community Care has been given the go-ahead to build a 68-bed luxury care home in Dalgety Bay on the east coast of Scotland.
Fife Council approved the plans for a residential, nursing and dementia care scheme designed by Holmes Miller Architects.
Facilities will include private dining rooms, a hair salon, cinema, champagne bar and private landscaped gardens.
Morrison Community Care will work with Glasgow-based civils contractor - and joint venture partner - CCG (Scotland) on the development.
“Working in partnership with CCG (Scotland), Morrison Community Care build quality care facilities which promote the rights of the individual whilst ensuring privacy, dignity and respect,” said Morrison chief executive Paul Sokhi.
“We design our developments from the ground up to ensure that every need of the resident is met and we are delighted that we can now bring our expertise to Dalgety Bay,” he added.
Construction of the Dalgety Bay care home is scheduled to kick off next year.
