Law firm Royds Withy King has advised on the sale of two specialist dementia care homes for provider Equality Care.
The sale of the two homes – Longbridge Deverill House and Longbridge Deverill Nursing Home (pictured) – was completed during the first week of November.
Longbridge Deverill House is a residential home registered for 20 residents.
Longbridge Deverill Nursing Home is both a residential and nursing home registered for 60 residents, including a specialist unit for individuals with dementia and mental health needs.
The sale of these two homes follows in January 2021 the sale of two further care homes in the group, The Old Vicarage and Staverton House, to Fidelia Care.
Equality Care family-owned business operating specialist care homes across Wiltshire for over 25 years.
“It is never an easy decision to sell a home, but for over 25 years we have provided the very best homes for our residents and now it is time for us to retire,” said Equality Care director Lucy Wilcox.
