National Care Group - one of the UK’s leading providers of support services to vulnerable adults - has acquired Stepping Stones Care Homes, which operates three facilities in Northamptonshire.
The three care homes - Phoenix House, Ryecroft Apartments and Primrose House - provide rehabilitation pathways for those with complex mental health needs, helping individuals to gain greater independence and supporting their reintegration into the community.
The three former Stepping Stones services will now be operated under National Care Group-owned Wellington Support Limited.
“All three facilities have been rated ‘Good’ by the CQC and are fantastic services for individuals with complex needs to gain further independence,” said National Care Group commercial director Mike Ranson (pictured).
“We’re pleased that the current service manager has joined our team to continue the brilliant care and support already being provided daily. Every individual we support counts, and we look forward to bringing this ethos to the additional people who we will be supporting in Northamptonshire,” he added.
The deal is part of the National Care Group’s strategic plan to provide tailored assistance and quality services to a higher proportion of people across the country.
“Since we began nearly five years ago, the focus has been on growth through the right strategic opportunities,” said Ranson.
“We are continuing to rollout our ambitious growth strategy with further acquisitions as well as organic growth in the pipeline,” he added.
