Barchester Healthcare has cut the ribbon on the marketing suite at its Florence Court in Hampshire’s Titchfield Common ahead of the full opening of the care home later this summer.
Florence Court has 75 ensuite bedrooms and will offer facilities including spa baths, smart TVs and a selection of communal dining rooms and lounges – including a rooftop area that opens onto an outside terrace area - as well as a private dining space for special occasions.
Other facilities include on-site cinema, wellness room and activities café, as well as an in-house hair and beauty salon.
“Personalised care really is at the heart of everything we do, and we are looking forward to meeting new friends from within the local community and to welcoming our new residents, and their loved ones, when it is safe to do so,” said Florence Court deputy manager Lauren Mortimer.
Florence Court has been built by contractor McGoff Construction.
The Hampshire home is the newest addition to Barchester’s network of 236 care homes across the UK.
Catering to the needs of some 12,000 residents, there is an option for short respite breaks, as well as long-term stays.
