Cinnamon Care Collection has acquired a development site with planning consent for an 81-bedroom care home in Worthing, West Sussex.
The site’s previous owner, Aspire LLP, achieved full planning permission for a scheme set to include a feature entrance and resident amenities such as restaurant, hair salon, cinema and several activity and social spaces throughout the building.
There is also a selection of external terrace and patio areas for resident to enjoy with views over woodlands to the rear of the development.
Surrey care provider Cinnamon expects to begin construction of the new home by December.
“We are delighted to acquire this consented site in Worthing and look forward starting construction in the coming months,” said director Ken Mackenzie.
The acquisition was brokered by specialist business property adviser Christie & Co.
The site was sold to Cinnamon at an undisclosed price.
