Exemplar Health Care has appointed Jonathan Green as core managing director to oversee the operations of its 32 care homes across England.
In his role of managing director of core, Green will oversee the operational management of Exemplar’s care services to drive and maintain quality standards and support the company’s growth.
Green will work alongside Exemplar’s managing director of commissioning Selina Wall, who manages the build and opening of its new care homes.
Green started his career in the British Army and has worked for Gatwick Airport, Rentokil-Initial, Iron Mountain and most recently Choice Care Group where he was chief operating officer.
“Joining a specialist care provider during an international pandemic is challenging, but I’m delighted to be joining an organisation with an absolute commitment to quality and an exciting plan to open more of these much needed specialist services across the country,” he said.
Green joins Exemplar’s executive management team alongside chief executive John Whitehead, human resources director Lynne Waters and director of quality and compliance Helen Baxendale.
Whitehead said: “We’re delighted to have Jonathan on board to work closely with our operations team and home managers and continue to incredible work happening to drive quality across our care homes.
“Jonathan joins the company at an exciting time as we embark on a new digital transformation journey, as well as opening five new homes this year. We’re excited to see what his skills and experience can bring to the role.”
