Senior living developer Charterpoint has completed a deal to sell its under-development Bradway care home in Sheffield to operator Cinnamon Luxury Care.
The deal was concluded after Sheffield City Council approved the joint application by Charterpoint Senior Living and Cinnamon Luxury Care for the four-storey, 80-bed project.
The scheme will provide individual bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, private dining, a café, hair and beauty salon, and a cinema, along with dedicated lounge and dining areas on each floor.
Extensive terraces and a dementia garden have been incorporated into the development site, which is in a Sheffield suburb to the south of the city.
“We are delighted to have received planning consent and to now complete on the purchase of the site with Charterpoint. It’s been a pleasure to work with the Charterpoint team and we hope to be able to work together on similar schemes in the future,” said Cinnamon estates and development executive Ben Collard.
“Cinnamon are very much looking forward to building a first-class care home, in a stunning setting, that we are sure will become an integral part of the community for many years to come,” he added.
The Bradway scheme is Cinnamon Luxury Care’s first home in Yorkshire.
