Kevin Shaw has been appointed as chief executive officer of Hallmark Care Homes’ assisted living brand Santhem Residences and its sister care home design and construction business Savista Developments.
Shaw (pictured), who previously worked for Audley Villages as managing director, will lead the expansion of Santhem Residences delivering luxury assisted living.
In addition, Shaw will lead Savista’s planned growth to build and fit out the next generation of Hallmark’s care homes and retirement communities.
Within his role as chief executive officer, Shaw will also play a vital role in supporting the creation of Santhem Care, their new home care proposition.
“We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Shaw. Kevin’s extensive experience in both construction and the retirement living sector will help us to execute our vision as we set out to create the next generation of care homes and retirement villages,” said Avnish Goyal, executive chairman of Santhem Residences, Savista Developments and Hallmark Care Homes.
Shaw added: "I am delighted to join both Savista Developments and Santhem Residences at such an exciting time. We have a fantastic team, a great range of high-quality sites that we are working on.
“The senior living sector is buoyant and we have the capital to invest. I am looking forward to working closely with Avnish and the team."
