The UK’s largest care home provider, HC-One, has promoted Stephen Butterworth to the position of executive director for operations.
In this role, Butterworth (pictured) will be leading operations across all of HC-One’s homes and its domiciliary care services.
HC-One said Butterworth will be spearheading the operational direction of the company, working closely with its senior management team, its regional teams, and central support team, to support its care services.
Since joining HC-One in 2012, Butterworth has worked in a number of operational and senior positions across the business, leading a number of high-profile transformation projects, as well as the High Impact Projects and Colleague Deployment teams, before being appointed to his most recent role of managing director in 2017.
In this role, Butterworth was responsible for the quality, regulatory compliance and commercial performance of care homes in his portfolio in north-east England.
HC-One chief executive James Tugendhat said: “Stephen has made a tremendous impact at HC-One during his time with the company and brings great experience to his new role.”
“I am very much looking forward to working closely with Stephen, and I have no doubt that Stephen will be instrumental in helping us to build on HC-One’s performance as The Kind Care Company to date and take HC-One from strength to strength,” he added.
