Intastop accreditation ‘to support care sector’

Protective door and wall anti-bacterial product manufacturer Intastop has received an accreditation for its recently extended installation service.

The CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) allows contractors to demonstrate to customers that they meet the required health and safety standards.

“This is an important accreditation for us and demonstrates our ongoing commitment to health and safety for both our employees and our customers,” said Intastop marketing and HR director Sarah Barsby.

“It will give our clients added confidence in our operations when we are carrying out installations at their sites in addition to the high professional standards that we follow and the qualifications and training that they have,” she added.

Intastop achieved the accreditation by demonstrating compliance of CHAS standards in line with Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) Core Criteria and UK health and safety Legislation.

“This reinforces our commitment to ensuring that health and safety is at the forefront of our operations and to making our work sites a safer place for all,” added Barsby.

“We will continue to support the care, healthcare, education, mental health and leisure sector with our range of products and our professional, accredited installation service for those that require it.”
