The exclusive event was hosted by Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson who is regarded as one of Britain’s greatest Paralympians with 11 gold medals, four silvers and a bronze won over a period of 16 years. There were 12 main category award winners announced along with highly commended accolades and special honours for long standing industry achievers.
TGA Mobility, a leading mobility scooter specialist, received a Highly Commended Award for its new WHILL, which is a next generation ‘personal electric vehicle', which combines world leading manoeuvrability and style using all- directional ‘omni’ wheels, high performance four wheel drive and a contemporary streamlined look.
TGA’s new WHILL powerchair was identified within the BHTA Best Product category as excelling in several areas including innovation, originality and meeting market demand.
