Grace Cares has won the New Business Award at the Women Achieving Greatness (WAGS) Awards.
The award celebrates dynamic women who have launched businesses or services within the last three years that have made a significant impact on their sector.
Grace Cares has become a pioneer in sustainable care, helping divert nearly 1,000 pieces of care equipment from landfill while supporting older people, their families, and care providers. The organisation’s MediCycle initiative, a partnership with Staffordshire County Council, has successfully redistributed vital care equipment across the community, while its Sustainability Guide for Care Managers offers actionable advice to care providers striving to adopt greener practices.
The judges praised Grace Cares for its transformative approach to the care sector, with a focus on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.
Hannah Montgomery, co-founder of Grace Cares, said: “Winning this award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire Grace Cares Tribe. Together, we’re proving that care can be both compassionate and sustainable.”
