Throughout March, Skills for Care is running its latest campaign, Managing your service, aimed at empowering care leaders and managers to run their services more effectively.
Managing your service will provide resources for registered managers, nominated individuals, and care organisation directors to them navigate the complexities of leadership, compliance, and daily operations.
The campaign will feature expert blogs, articles, and real-life case studies, providing leaders with valuable insight into best practices. Content will be accessible through the Skills for Care website, social media (via the hashtag #KeepLearning), and other communication channels, with links to further resources, projects, and support to aid in supporting great service management.
Skills for Care’s director of engagement Georgina Turner said: “While all registered managers share similar core responsibilities, the specifics of their roles can vary greatly. No two days are the same, and for managers working in different settings or within organisations of varying sizes, their duties and experiences can look very different. So, we hope that some of the resources prove useful and we look forward to sharing a huge variety of other valuable content during the course of this campaign.”
