Centrum Care Homes Group’s Beacon House Care Home in Dartmouth has unveiled a newly developed garden space.
Designed to encourage meaningful connection with nature, the project was brought to life by Centrum Care Homes’ maintenance lead Wayne Vincent, who built planting containers, laid the lawn, installed secure fencing, and added decorative touches to make the space inviting and accessible. With the support of Centrum Care Group’s leadership, the home has turned an underused area into a vibrant outdoor space where residents can relax, socialise, and take part in therapeutic activities such as outdoor exercise sessions.
Sarah Tremlett, registered manager at Beacon House, said: “Creating this space has been about more than just improving our environment - it has reminded us of the power of small changes to make a big impact. It has brought renewed energy to the home and opened up new possibilities for how we support wellbeing. I’m grateful to the team for their hard work and to our Founders, Tushar and Mehul, whose belief in what we do made this possible.”
