Loveday Kensington launches ‘The Perfume Butler’

Leading London care home Loveday Kensington has announced the launch of a personalised new service – The Perfume Butler.

This luxury offering is designed to enhance the daily experience of Loveday members through the power of scent, transforming the simple act of choosing a fragrance into a morning ritual.

Each morning, a butler visits members with a tray of carefully selected perfumes, allowing them to choose their signature scent for the day. The service is intended as a celebration of sensory therapy, tapping into the powerful connection between fragrance and memory. Studies have shown that the sense of smell has a profound ability to evoke memories and emotions, making it a meaningful aspect of daily wellbeing and reminiscence therapy.

The Perfume Butler was conceived by Loveday Kensington’s general manager Daisy Slavkova, who said: “Our members take great joy in their morning rituals, from getting dressed and following their beauty and grooming routines to enjoying breakfast and embracing new experiences. We wanted to elevate that experience by introducing a moment of personal indulgence, where they can select a fragrance that resonates with their mood and enhances their day.

“We are excited to see how The Perfume Butler enriches the lives of our members. It's about creating moments of joy, connection and self-expression, all through the magic of scent.”
