Oyster to offer accredited qualifications for staff

Oyster Care Homes has announced a partnership with Paragon Skills to offer City & Guilds accredited Adult Care Worker qualifications.

Paragon Skills specialises in the care and education sectors. The initiative will be delivered as part of the Apprenticeship Levy scheme, ensuring that Oyster staff members can gain the qualifications at no cost to themselves. Through the partnership, Oyster Care Homes aims to provide staff with the opportunity to expand their skills and knowledge, allowing them to offer better care to residents.

Katy Hague, chief of staff at Oyster Care Homes, said: “We are delighted to partner with Paragon Skills to provide our team members with the opportunity to gain City & Guilds accredited Adult Care Worker qualifications. At Oyster Care Homes, our teams are the heart of what we do, and we believe it is crucial to invest in them, so they feel valued and appreciated for their hard work. By gaining these qualifications, our teams will continue to enhance their skills and expertise, ensuring they deliver the highest quality of care to our residents every day.”
