Boutique Care Homes expands with Canterbury acquisition

Boutique Care Homes is set to expand its offering in Kent with the acquisition of Connors House in Canterbury.

The off-market acquisition, completed in partnership with Rapport Housing & Care, takes Boutique’s current Kent pipeline to three homes. Connors House will be redeveloped into a 78-bed care home, generating over 80 full-time jobs

Boutique is currently working on a planning submission for Connors House, aiming to include a bistro, hobby room, and landscaped gardens, amongst other facilities.

The regeneration of the Connors House site will complement Boutique Care Homes’ existing Kent home Chartwell House in Broadstairs, and the upcoming Martello Manor in Hythe. The new acquisition is part of the provider's ongoing expansion efforts, with recent site announcements in Burgess Hill, Hythe, Tadley, Maidenhead, and Reading.

Ameet Kotecha, founder and managing director of Boutique Care Homes, said: “We are thrilled about the acquisition of Connors House. It underscores our mission to create a community of exceptional care homes in Kent, and we remain committed to enriching the lives of our residents through top-tier care services.”
