Harlow Hall in Hampshire opens its doors to new residents

Hartford Care’s new care home, Harlow Hall, in Aldershot, Hampshire, is opening its doors to new residents later this month.

Prospective residents and their families can view the new home by appointment or attend one of Harlow Hall’s open house coffee mornings every Friday in May from 10am to 1pm. People are invited to pop into these events with no prior appointment to meet manager Chris Ahenkorah and the rest of the team and tour the new home.

Harlow Hall offers dementia, residential, end of life, and day care, alongside respite breaks, across 66 en suite bedrooms. Facilities in the new home include several lounges, dining rooms, a lifestyle kitchen, a salon, and a shop. The home also boasts a fully accessible and enclosed landscaped garden, with patio areas and sun terraces. Designed with sustainability in mind, Harlow Hall has many significant renewable energy elements including solar panels, heat pumps, and battery storage systems.

Based in Basingstoke, Hampshire, Hartford Care was established in 2003 and currently operates 17 care homes across the UK.

Chris Ahenkorah, home manager at Harlow Hall, said: “We’re looking forward to opening the doors of Harlow Hall to our new residents. Our main objective – as with all of Hartford Care’s homes – is to enable our residents to live their lives to the fullest by continuing their hobbies and interests and getting to spend time with their friends and family, alongside a full activities programme including visits to the local area and beyond.”
