Specialist business property adviser Christie & Co has announced the sale of Braintree Nursing Home in Essex.
Braintree Nursing Home is a ‘Good’ rated home registered to care for adults with dementia, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and substance misuse problems. The home, located close to Braintree town centre, is registered for 51 residents.
The home, owned by Tony McLean and Conor Gallagher of Excellence in Care Group since May 2021, has been purchased by Emilda Healthcare, whose owners have been in the care sector for over 20 years. Emilda’s medium-term plan is to build a new wing and add a further 11-bed facility within the home.
Previous owners Tony McLean and Conor Gallagher said: “We are delighted that the home will continue to trade under the leadership of Emilda Healthcare Limited, and that they will continue the legacy of Braintree Nursing Home of serving the local community since it was first established by Vic and Sue Dixon.”
