New Care’s state-of-the-art new £15m care home in Lymm, Cheshire, is set to be completed before the festive season.
The provider’s 66-bed Statham Manor home will cater for residents from Lymm and the surrounding area, offering person-centred residential, nursing, dementia, and respite care in what New Care - part of the award-winning McGoff Group - promises will be ‘a safe, comfortable, and stylish environment’.
The brickwork and roof tiling of the home are complete, meaning the building is now watertight, and the team of contractors and tradesmen are working to ensure the development remains on schedule.
When finished, each bedroom will feature a private en-suite wet room, while the home itself will offer several communal lounges, dining rooms, spa-assisted bathrooms, a hair salon and nail bar, and landscaped gardens.
Statham Manor will also provide high end ‘hotel-style’ services, including fine dining and a varied programme of activities and events. The home will boast a high specification finish, taking inspiration from its former life as a hotel that hosted Pele during the World Cup.
Dawn Collett, commissioning director at New Care, said: “Work on site is progressing well and, with less than one month to go until practical completion, Statham Manor is really taking shape. The care facility has been expertly designed to offer outstanding care in a stylish environment, and we are already starting to recruit the 100-strong team and our first residents.”
