Digital care tech provider Person Centred Software has announced its sponsorship of The Care Workers’ Charity (CWC).
Founded in 2009, CWC promotes care workers' financial, professional, and mental wellbeing by awarding grants to care workers in need of a helping hand. In addition, the charity campaigns to raise awareness of the issues affecting care workers.
With an aligned mission of prioritising the health and wellbeing of social care workers, Person Centred Software aims to contribute to CWC’s mission of supporting almost two million workers across the UK — with donated funds going towards grants, resources, and access to services.
Discussing the sponsorship, Yaz Hassoun, Person Centred Software’s head of international marketing, said: “We are proud to support the work of The Care Workers’ Charity; the charity provides amazing support for people in the care sector who face financial difficulties. Carers contribute so much to our society, and it's important to recognise their incredible work and support them during these difficult times.”
Karolina Gerlich, CEO of the Care Workers' Charity, added: "We are pleased that Person Centred Software is working to promote the charity to their staff and wider audience. We both share the same values that centre around improving the lives of those involved in social care."
