Young’s launches new 50g battered cod portion

Young’s Foodservice, the UK’s largest specialist seafood brand, has launched a new 50g battered cod portion perfect for care settings.

Aimed at caterers and chefs looking for a smaller serving, the 50g portion is easy to cook and is a valuable source of protein, vitamins, and minerals, making it even easier for everyone to achieve the government’s advice to eat two portions of seafood a week.

Available in packs of 80 x 50g, the 50g portion size is perfect for care homes, as well as settings such as schools, or any operator looking to offer a smaller option which still looks good on a plate.

With the aim of making meal planning and budgeting easier, the 50g portion is a versatile product that gives good plate coverage and can be paired with vegetables, jacket potatoes, or even added to a wrap with salad for a delicious meal.
