Person Centred Software and MED e-care Healthcare Solutions have announced a working partnership to integrate MED e-care’s eMAR (medication management) solution with Person Centred Software’s digital care system.
Medication data from MED e-care’s system will now be shared with Person Centred Software’s solution to give care home staff the ability to view the entirety of residents’ care, including medicines administrations, in one place.
Medication from MED e-care’s eMAR solution will automatically appear as a care record within Person Centred Software’s offering, providing an integrated record of the care provided and any medications administered.
The integration of the two platforms will ensure that vital information will be available to care home staff when needed, reducing potential errors. It is hoped that the shared platform will strengthen existing partnerships between care homes, GP’s, and pharmacies, facilitating both better communication and transparency.
Chris Pearson, head of care partnerships at MED e-care, said: “We are delighted to be working with Person Centred Software to achieve this exciting integration. We are looking forward to our joint customers being able to benefit immensely from this joined up care innovation.”
Person Centred Software CEO Andrew Coles said: “Care providers are seeing the benefits of reducing risks using electronic systems. Many are now on a digital journey, whether they started with eMAR or electronic care planning, and we are joining them together to magnify the benefits of both solutions. Our system is a central repository for data. Working with best of breed solutions, such as MED e-care, we enable care homes to use a full ecosystem of technology to improve outcomes and efficiently demonstrate quality of care to regulatory inspectors.”
