Sanders Senior Living’s luxury Worcester care home The Belmont celebrated its opening on 26 March with a 1920s-themed bash.
Staff and residents invited the Worcester community - including the local mayor - to the day’s events, which included a live jazz band, classic car show, and official ribbon cutting.
Described by Sanders Senior Living as “a stunning, state-of-the-art community for seniors in the cathedral city of Worcester”, the home boasts luxury interiors, a cinema, hairdressing salon, cocktail Bar, and bistro restaurants among its facilities.
Tommy Fellows, customer relations manager at The Belmont, said: “It was a joy to welcome so many wonderful people from the Worcester community to our beautiful new home The Belmont, the newest home in the Sanders Senior Living collection. Thank you, team, for all your hard work in making our grand launch event a reality. Not to forget all our classic car owners and the talented jazz musicians.”
Belmont home manager Sandie Preece added: “It was heart-warming to see everyone at our grand launch having the loveliest time. Finally being able to show off our home and all it has to offer at such a fantastic event was a moment the team and I have looked forward to for months. To see Heather, our first resident, and the mayor of Worcester cutting the ribbon was a surreal experience. You could really feel the excitement in the air throughout the day. This is just the beginning, and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for The Belmont.”
