Rotherwood Healthcare has been nominated in nine categories at the Care Home Awards.
The winners of the 2022 awards, which pride themselves on being ‘the benchmark of excellence and innovation in the management and operations of care homes’, will be unveiled at a ceremony on 1 July at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, London.
Founded in 2015, Rotherwood currently operates seven homes across Herefordshire, Shropshire, and Worcestershire, and offers a range of residential, nursing, and dementia care for over 350 people. It has been nominated for ‘Best smaller care home group’ and ‘Best for training and development’, while its ‘Matron’ software - developed in-house - has been shortlisted for ‘Best for use of technology / Best for use of care management software’. The care home nominees include Roden Hall for the ‘Best for indoor or outdoor communal spaces’ and ‘Best continuing Covid-19 response’. Gwen Walford House, meanwhile, has been nominated in the ‘Best for nursing care’ category.
The CEO of Rotherwood, John Fennell, said: “It is great to be recognised for our impact enriching the lives of the older generation. Reaching the final stage is testament to our dedicated team members and their commitment to delivering exceptional care and lifestyle for our residents.”
