Electrical and digital infrastructure specialist Legrand has launched Legrand Care, a consolidated brand for the assisted living and healthcare market.
Legrand Care is born from the integration of the brands that make up the Assisted Living and Healthcare (AL&HC) business unit of Legrand: Intervox, Tynetec, Aid Call, Jontek and Neat.
“Under a common strategic vision, with a coherent image in the market, the five brands will cease to operate as segmented entities and will concentrate their strengths to position Legrand as the leader in connected care worldwide,” said Legrand Care director of product and marketing Íñigo Ruiz Cossío.
Legrand Care chief executive Chris Dodd added: “The coming together of five highly-regarded, customer-centric, long-established assisted living and healthcare brands into Legrand Care is a significant milestone in our journey.”
Legrand Care will specialise in the innovative development of connected solutions for the health and social care sector.
The company said Legrand Care will allow it to be stronger in the international market of connected care, taking advantage of synergies and improving the value of products and services for the care sector.
“Together we will be better able to channel our combined resources into new product development and will continue to remain nimble and be proactive to the changing needs of our customers with the strength, resources and quality controls of Legrand, the global specialist in electrical and digital infrastructures in support,” said Dodd.
Arturo Pérez Kramer, formerly chief executive of Neat and now deputy chief executive of Legrand Care, said the new brand “responds to the objective that Legrand established in 2020: to improve people's lives".
