New Care has received planning consent for two care facilities, one near Warrington in Cheshire and a second in Guiseley in West Yorkshire.
The Manchester-based operator will build a 70-bed care home with a value of £11m in Grappenhall and a 72-bed, £12m establishment within the Guiseley Conservation Area.
Each property will boast spacious and fully furnished bedrooms, complete with private ensuite wet rooms, elegant communal lounges, fine dining rooms, spa-assisted bathrooms, a hair salon, nail bar and beautifully landscaped gardens.
All residents will receive individual person-centred compassionate care enhanced by a meaningful programme of daily activities and excursions from a permanent, professional team.
Approval for both homes was given on the same day and New Care’s sister company, McGoff Construction, is gearing up to start work on both sites later this year.
“Grappenhall was passed by unanimous vote at the council’s planning meeting and Guiseley was a delegated decision made possible only by the overall quality of the submission,” said New Care chief operating officer Cath Fairhurst.
“Our development-led approach is well coordinated and extremely thorough which usually leads to a positive response at committee and planning approval subsequently being granted,” she added.
Both homes will also create local employment opportunities with approximately 80 full-time equivalent jobs at each facility across a variety of different roles.
New Care worked with Manchester-based law firm Beyond Corporate on the deal.
