Angel Guard has opened a new office and factory in East Kilbride in western Scotland, heralding the company’s UK expansion
The announcement comes as the company positions itself as the creators of the most technologically advanced clinical wash basin.
Angel Guard is passionate about making a positive step change in the fight against healthcare-acquired infections (HCAIs), multi-drug resistant bacteria and improving health outcomes.
It aims to do this by introducing new, cutting edge washbasins, equipped to deal with all things bacterial, from cutting down on the spread of pathogens and bacteria, but also to prevent retrograde contamination, through their Michael and Gabriel units.
Along with the opening of the office and factory, Angel Guard is also participating in the DWP Kickstarter scheme, allowing young workers aged 16-24 to gain valuable skills and experience, especially during such turbulent times.
Many of the workers will be engaging in the important manufacturing sector, fabricating the essential parts of the state-of-the-art clinical wash basins.
“As a company, we are privileged to not only be working in the current climate, but to also experience the expansion of our business,” said Angel Guard operations director Elaine Waggott.
“However, we want to ensure that we use our progress to provide unique opportunities for those who are engaged in the Kickstarter scheme,” she added.
