National Care Group (NCG) has signed a contract with property management outfit Velway to provide maintenance and compliance services across the former’s care home portfolio.
Initially serving 47 properties throughout England and Wales, Velway will use its property management systems to record, manage, and document all levels of planned maintenance and compliance.
Working closely with the NCG’s internal estate team, Velway will be developing further the service they have provided the client since they started working alongside them in August 2019.
“It’s always good to develop an existing relationship with a client and see what started out as an ad-hoc, reactive service become a full national contract,” said Velway managing director Robin Harris.
“We know that continuous maintenance and improvement of care facilities contributes to the health and well-being of residents and Velway will be working closely with NCG to deliver all levels of property management across their portfolio with the consideration and sensitivity that this type of environment requires,” he added.
NCG is a leading provider of care and support services to vulnerable adults throughout the UK.
The company works closely with the people they support, their family members, local authorities, and care providers to provide high quality, person-centred support to an ever-increasing number of people across the country.
NCG head of estates and procurement Mark Mason added: “The implementation of their CAFM system and the supporting process around this aligns perfectly with our goals and ambitions to provide the best quality, compliant environments for the people our services support.”
