Kingsley Healthcare has unveiled plans to build a 66-bed luxury care home in Holt, north Norfolk by autumn 2022.
The Lowestoft care provider is aiming to start construction of the £12m project next summer, subject to planning approval from North Norfolk District Council.
The project team includes architects Condy Lofthouse and planning consultants Bidwells.
The home in Holt will feature ensuite bedrooms and will be set in two acres of landscaped gardens.
“It has always been our ambition to bring the Kingsley brand to the affluent market town of Holt which embodies everything that is wonderful about north Norfolk. We are proud to be delivering a luxury home fitting for the community,” said Kingsley chief investment officer Muj Malik.
“The home will have easy access to the town centre by footpaths and cycleways and there is a handy bus service,” he added.
Kingsley will meanwhile gain a further 200 beds in the coming weeks through the opening of its 66-bed, £12m project in the Northamptonshire town of Brackley, and the acquisition of two existing luxury homes in the north-west England and Norfolk.
The company will shortly be submitting plans for luxury nursing homes in Olney, Buckinghamshire and Norwich, in Norfolk as part of its Vision 2025 pipeline.
