The Care Software Providers Association (CASPA) has published a new whitepaper on selecting online training providers.
The ‘Digital Learning & Learning Management Systems within Care Organisations’ document provides guidelines derived from best practice compiled by online training suppliers of over 2,500 registered services.
Advice includes what works best, what risks to consider and how to avoid them, what to look for in a supplier, commercial vetting, technology vetting, and guides on how to pilot products.
“Before Covid-19, care providers were already transitioning learning and training programmes to take advantage of digital,” said CASPA.
“This trend is now accelerating, with many providers either switching for the first time, or increasing the share of training that is provided digitally,” it added.
“This new whitepaper will support providers who are in the process of adopting e-learning and learning management systems in understanding what to look for and the process of implementation and adoption in order to maximise the direct impact on staff engagement, long term staff retention and ultimately the quality of support provided.”
