Barchester Healthcare has filed plans to build a 70-bed care home on the outskirts of Eastbourne in East Sussex.
The London-based care provider asked requested Wealden District Council to approve a three-storey scheme with a footprint of 1,365 square metres.
The site near Stone Cross Garden Centre in Pevensey would consist of ensuite bedrooms, with communal living and dining rooms.
The care home would also feature staff ancillary accommodations on each floor, and external landscaped gardens, courtyard garden, as well as tarmac surfaced parking area for 28 vehicles.
If given approval, McGoff Construction will project manage and construct the works.
