A care and rehab group is to host a webinar on Friday (15 May) to share its experience of internal operations software used during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Askham Village Community in Cambridgeshire has implemented new technology across its five homes to strengthen teamwork and solidarity among staff during the crisis.
The technology introduced includes instant messaging platform Yapster and digital HR rota system Alpaka.
Both companies, as well as Askham director Aliyyah-Begum Nasser (pictured), will be on hand during the webinar at 11.30 to explain how swift communication is playing an essential part in combatting Covid-19.
“It’s reported that up to 80 per cent of care workers don’t have access to an official work email address, with many healthcare employees having information cascaded down to them from management or through posters and flyers which need to be written and printed off; both long processes,” said Nasser.
“Yapster though, which all staff have access to, has revolutionised communication within our community,” she added.
