A group of first-time care home buyers has acquired the Faith House residential property in the South Gloucestershire village of Severn Beach off an asking price of £600,000.
The property was sold by Toni Stevens, who owned Faith House for over 13 years before she decided to sell to pursue retirement.
Faith House (pictured) has 10 bedrooms, nine of which have en-suite facilities. Additional facilities include a residents’ lounge with kitchen/diner, and a separate recently refitted bathroom and WC.
The sale was managed by specialist property adviser Christie & Co, who said the undisclosed buyers have “extensive experience in the health and social care sector.”
Christie & Co senior business agent Oliver McCarthy added: ”Faith House received significant local and national interest leading to a number of offers, and we continue to see many well-funded buyers seeking new opportunities in the region”.
Finance for the buyer was arranged by Lawrence Roberts, finance consultant at Christie Finance.
“Despite both being first-time buyers, they both have a wealth of experience in the sector and the required skills to sustain and grow the home’s performance. There are already discussions regarding a second acquisition in the future and it would be my pleasure to assist in helping them again in securing the funding they require,” he said.
