Audley makes plans for new director

Retirement village developer Audley Group has appointed Emma Trinder as its new planning director.

In her new role, Trinder will lead the group’s planning team across all its Audley and Mayfield villages within the UK.

Trinder, who will report directly to Audley Group managing director Kevin Shaw, will also assume responsibility for village design.

Emma joins Audley from ETG Consulting, where she advised clients on the planning, design and operation on build to rent projects across the UK.

Prior to this role she spent nine years at Moorfield Group, where Trinder was responsible for delivery of planning strategy for all alternative residential assets, including retirement living.

“Audley is a company that I have admired from afar for a number of years, so it’s a real thrill to now be part of the team,” she said.

“The welcome has been fantastic and I am looking forward to rolling up my sleeves and helping Audley maintain its reputation at the pinnacle of retirement living providers”.

Shaw added: “The demand for our retirement villages remains extremely strong and we are excited to welcome someone with Emma’s extensive track record on board.

“Retirement living is a long-term growth sector and Audley remains at the forefront of that growth.”
