Brockington House, part of Dormy Care communities, has won an award at the Pinder Healthcare Awards. The accolade seeks to acknowledge the contribution these properties make to the wellbeing and quality of life for those in their care.
The panel of judges included experienced healthcare valuers, architects, developers, lenders and care operators. To decide the winner, the panel takes into consideration the architectural standards and innovation of the properties, how well the establishments recognise the needs and desires of the residents in its design, and the quality of care achieved through the quality of design.
CEO of Dormy Care Communities, Helen Davies-Parsons, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have won this award, it is a real testament to all the hard work and commitment from everyone involved. Thanks to Caroll Builders, Harris Irwin architects, chessman consulting, Kelly Wilson Interiors and everyone who made this happen. What truly makes our homes are the ladies and gentlemen who live with us, and it continues to be an absolute privilege to care for them. For me, that is the greatest reward and long may this continue.”
