Experienced operator buys Roselands

Roselands Residential Home in Heyside Royton, a peaceful residential suburb of Oldham, Lancashire, has been sold.

Roselands is a sizeable former vicarage, reconfigured and extended for change of use into a care home. The home is registered for 19 residents, operating at a maximum occupancy of 16, within the categories of old age, dementia, physical disability and daycare.

The business has been acquired for an undisclosed amount by Mr Patrick Hennessy, an experienced care operator based in Northern England.

Alison Willoughby, regional director appraised the business and Lisa Rushworth, senior negotiator at DC Care, managed the sale transaction. Ms Willoughby says: "Roselands has enjoyed an enviable position in the local market, especially for a smaller home, competing very well with the larger homes in the vicinity and I’m sure Roselands will compliment Mr Hennessy’s existing care portfolio."

Wendy Cameron, a director at Roselands Residential Home Ltd, passed on her gratitude to Alison and Lisa following completion of the sale: "Many thanks to you and Alison for all your support and advice."
