Runwood Homes is celebrating a run of positive Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection reports, resulting in good, valuable ratings for a number of its residential care homes across England.
Windle Court in South Woodham Ferrers near Chelmsford in Essex, has successfully improved its CQC rating from 'requires improvement' to 'good' in all five key lines of enquiry (KLOE) areas. The Mill House in Norwich, Norfolk, also improved its overall rating to 'good' from 'requires improvement'. Both updated ratings were published in September 2019 reports.
The good news continued into October with Leatherland Lodge care home in South Ockendon, Essex, upholding its favourable standards, meeting the industry regulators guidelines, and as a result, achieving 'good' in all five KLOEs.
Gavin O’Hare-Connolly, chief operating officer, says: “The recent inspections by the Care Quality Commission evidences our commitment as a large organisation, to support our individual services, and that we are maintaining good quality standards.
“Over the past 12 months, we have worked hard to establish a managerial and operational structure and launched innovative key initiatives across Runwood Homes, which are concurrent and we believe this has assisted in achieving this string of strong reports, which we anticipate, will continue.”
