Aroma Care Solutions has launched a new alcohol-free hand sanitiser to help healthcare institutions prevent the spread of infectious diseases among staff, patients and visitors.
The new product is effective against a whole range of microbes including Norovirus, the “winter vomiting bug” that often spreads rapidly through hospitals, care homes and schools causing hundreds of thousands of lost bed and work days annually across the UK.
The hand sanitiser also kills the “superbug” MRSA and potentially fatal Listeria, Salmonella bacteria as well as both Swine flu (H1N1) and Avian flu viruses with a 99.9% efficacy.
In contrast to many hand sanitisers it is both alcohol free and fragrance free, making it less irritating to the skin and less likely to cause contact dermatitis. Further it doesn’t evaporate on the skin meaning only a very small quantity is required.
Quentin Steele, founder of Aroma Care Solutions, said: “Our new Alcohol-free Hand Sanitiser is powerful weapon in the war against infectious diseases.
“Settings where large numbers of people mix together, such as schools, hospitals, care homes, sports facilities or even just office environments, are highly susceptible to infections spreading.
“We’ve all heard about Norovirus sweeping through cruise ships crews and passengers and causing havoc in the NHS with staff shortages and patient illness.
“Simple hand-cleaning techniques stop the spread of deadly infections and our new hand sanitising gel is effective against some of the most contagious infections.
“When systems and processes are in place to ensure that people clean their hands correctly rates of infection go down.
“In the worst case scenarios vulnerable people who catch infections such as MRSA, Swine flu and E.coli can die or be left with permanent injuries.”
Aroma Care Solutions was founded by Quentin, this latest addition to the company’s product portfolio is perfect for use in a multitude of environments as well as the home.
Available from www.aromacaresolutions.co.uk the hand sanitiser comes in three sizes – 500 ml £11.99rrp), 250ml (£6.99) as well as a 50ml handbag size which has a recommended retail price of £3.99.
