Oakland Care has signed up with care PR specialist Springup PR to help promote its homes to local audiences.
Oakland Care operates two homes in East Sussex - Beechwood Grove in Eastbourne and Hastings Court in Hastings - and one in Loughton, Essex - Woodland Grove.
The group also has three homes in the pipeline; the first, Lambwood Heights in Chigwell, will open in late 2019.
It is the third consecutive year that Oakland Care has partnered with Springup PR to run local media campaigns in order to reach families and other stakeholders with positive news about its homes’ quality of care and staff, innovation and specialist knowledge of dementia. Local BBC and ITV news are among the media outlets that have covered the care homes over the past 12 months.
Adam James, founder and managing director of Springup PR, says: “The truth of the matter is that Oakland Care makes our job easier because of the fabulous examples of personalised care that all its homes offer.
“When presented properly, local media journalists lap up 'good news' stories from care homes – and Oakland Care always has plenty of them. We’re privileged to continue working with them.”
Rachel Tiff, marketing manager of Oakland Care says: “Working with Springup PR over the past two years has enabled Oakland Care to showcase the fantastic news and events that are generated within our homes to local communities.
"We are really pleased with the results that we have had working with Springup PR and are excited to see what the next year brings.”
