Blackpool home sold to local operator

Regency Healthcare has announced the sale of Rosehaven Residential Care Home in Blackpool.

The home is a sensitively converted ‘Porritt’ house in a magnificent location in a leafy area close to central Blackpool. As the name suggests, Rosehaven has attractive and well established gardens and rose gardens.

The business has been acquired by Andrew Cope of ARC Community Care, a Blackpool based domiciliary care provider and owner of The Owls Care Home, which Cope acquired in 2016.

He plans to refurbish the property and make it a loving home for residents to ensure that they receive personalised care of the highest standard. A daily activities programme has already been introduced and will be continuously improved with the input of the residents.

Cope comments: ”I have just purchased The Rosehaven Care Home in Blackpool and Lisa Rushworth was the person that dealt with the transaction. I found Lisa to be thorough, efficient and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend DC Care to buy or sell a care home.”
