Henley Manor, Hallmark Care Homes' new 80 bed care facility in Henley on Thames has reached a major milestone in its construction.
The residential, nursing and dementia care home, which will be the care group’s 20th facility, had its last roof tile recently installed signalling that it is on schedule to open in December this year.
Henley Manor, is being built at a cost of £8.5 million across a one-acre site.
The home when completed will provide a spacious, luxurious and sociable environment where family members will be encouraged to spend time with their loved ones and participate in activities.
Facilities at the home will include: a cinema, hairdressers and therapy room. Each bedroom will be elegantly furnished, have an en-suite bathroom and many of those on the ground floor will have access to their own patio.
Other communal areas comprise of a café, a celebrations room and several dining rooms which will enable relatives to have a meal with their loved ones on occasion.
Outside there will be a putting green, several water features and landscaped gardens with raised planters, giving residents the opportunity to get involved in the gardening at the home.
