What do you find are the most common challenges care homes are looking to overcome when purchasing new laundry equipment?

Minimising machine downtime during the installation process and later is an important consideration. Without working equipment, potentially contaminated laundry can build up quickly, increasing the risk of infection spreading and exposing vulnerable residents, staff and visitors to this risk. That is why quality and reliability are key for care homes in their choice of laundry provision. For peace of mind, it’s also a good idea for care homes to have an ongoing service contract in place with their provider so that machines can be maintained and repaired quickly in the event of a breakdown.
