Residents and their families have rated HC-One as one of the top 20 care home groups in the UK.
There are over 18,000 care homes in the UK, with the top 20 care home groups as rated by the care homes review website receiving an award. The award is based on care home reviews from residents as well as their friends and relatives. HC-One is also celebrating a 9.5/10 average user rating on the site.
Amanda Hopkins, reviews manager of carehome.co.uk, says: “Care home groups, which put compassion, dignity and kindness at the heart of their care, are making a profound difference to residents’ lives.
“Our reviews, which are written by residents and their family and friends, show that HC-One provides high quality care throughout its homes and we would like to congratulate it on being a top care home group! We feel it is a huge achievement to be named as one of the top 20 care home groups in the UK.”
Justin Hutchens, chief executive officer at HC-One, says: “We’re delighted to have been recognised by carehome.co.uk once again; this accolade follows HC-One being recognised as Care Home Group of the Year at the National Care Awards in 2018.
“Our caring colleagues work tirelessly to deliver the kindest possible care to residents and this award endorses the difference they make to the lives of our residents each and every day. This latest award not only recognises our colleagues’ kindness and commitment but it also means so much to them to hear they’re so appreciated by our residents and relatives.”
Quality Compliance Systems (QCS), which produces bespoke policies, procedures and management toolkits for the care sector, is sponsoring the carehome.co.uk 2019 awards.
A spokesperson for QCS says: “We are really pleased to be sponsoring the carehome.co.uk awards. Our purpose at QCS is to help create a fairer and compassionate world and we hope these awards help to set a high standard of outstanding care for the most vulnerable in society.”
