Belvedere Park Nursing Home in Coventry has been sold on behalf of Lawrence and Chinyere Anyanwu; the home is registered for 25 service users within the categories of nursing and mild dementia care.
Named after the nearby Belvedere Park it overlooks, the property is tastefully decorated throughout and features en-suite accommodation, providing a comfortable environment. Mr and Mrs Anyanwu acquired this long-established business in 2005 and in that time maintained its strong occupancy levels and high standards of care provision. Following completion of the sale they now look forward to enjoying their retirement.
The business has been acquired by Anand Patel, a new entrant to the care sector who had undertaken care sector specific courses and obtained the necessary qualifications to support him in the acquisition of the business.
The sale was managed by senior sales negotiator Clare Duffey and southern region director Andy Sandel, who also initially appraised the business and summed up the sale by saying: “Mr Patel’s previous background was in the education sector.
"However, his approach through obtaining the knowledge and experience required and by approaching specialist care brokers for funding put Mr Patel in a strong position to acquire Belvedere Park. This demonstrates banks are willing to fund new entrants who have done their homework.”
