Bristol-based charity, St Monica Trust is pleased to confirm the appointment of Kevin Hall as its new chief operating officer.
Taking up his new role at the start of November, Hall joined the St Monica Trust from The Orders of St John Care Trust where he was operations director. He has more than 25 years’ experience in the retail and care sector, holding senior roles with Craegmoor Healthcare, Care UK and WHSmith.
Speaking about his appointment, Hall says: “The opening of The Chocolate Quarter has set new standards for high-quality retirement living and I’m delighted to join the St Monica Trust at such an exciting time in the charity’s history.
“I’m very much looking forward to meeting all those being cared for and supported by the trust and working with my colleagues to further the goal of supporting and celebrating the lives of older people.”
Chief executive of the St Monica Trust, David Williams says: “We are delighted to welcome Kevin to the St Monica Trust. As the new chief operating officer, he will be overseeing both the care and facilities directorates in order to enhance the resident experience of the Trust’s services.
“In his previous role, Kevin supported the opening of six new care homes and was responsible for 71 homes and 16 extra care housing schemes across Lincolnshire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. He brings to the trust a wealth of experience in healthcare, retail and facilities management in both single and multi-site locations.”
The St Monica Trust operates five retirement communities across Bristol and North Somerset, including The Chocolate Quarter in Keynsham. The £60 million development has gained national attention since it opened as it combines retirement living with a range of facilities which are open to the public and uniquely, office space for local businesses.
